Robin White has been a wildcrafter, beekeeper & herb gardener for over 30 years. She studied the Science & Art of Herbalism with Rosemary Gladstar in the '90s, and more recently, completed the Medicinal Plants Program at Cornell University, as well as the End-of-Life Doula Program at the University of Vermont's Larner School of Medicine. She is currently immersed in herbal studies at the Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine, as well as the Master Herbalist Program at Wild Rose College. Robin's passion for herbs & clay shows in her handcrafted teas & hand thrown tea bowls. She also designs original stained glass inspired by nature.
She is founding editor/publisher of Akitsu Quarterly, a haiku journal, and founder/hostess of the Annual Haiku Gathering at Wild Graces, a day long gathering of poets, artists and musicians. Her love of the arts, nature & gardening were culled into creating Wild Graces. She is a juried member of the Deerfield Arts Tour and the Canterbury Artisan Festival at Shaker Village.
A 10th generation Quaker, Reiki Master, death doula, and state licensed LNA, Robin also provides ADLs, hospice & post-mortem care for the frailest in her community. She and her husband, Marshall, a mental health clinician / wild mushroom hunter, live at Wild Graces, a stone's throw from the Pawtuckaway Mountains, once the indigenous, sacred land of the Algonquins.
